My name is Dr. Mark Marciano and I'm running for re-election to the Palm Beach Gardens City Council, Seat 1.
I hope to continue to represent the residents of Palm Beach Gardens following the city-wide election in March, 2020. My wife Brandee and I have been residents of our City since we married in 2001. We are parents of two boys, Adam and Thomas who are both in high school. Both boys continue to participate with the PBGYAA Predators Travel Soccer program. Brandee and I are both optometrists; we own and operate a private practice in West Palm Beach since 2004 and recently opened a second office here in Palm Beach Gardens.
In my time as a council member and now as your Mayor, I remain committed to ensuring our city grows with a purpose and a plan. As your representative on the city council, I take my responsibility seriously. My role is to ensure the voice of the residents are listened to and are taken into consideration as our city embarks on a new phase of growth. There is much to be proud of in our City but as in all municipalities, there remains challenges and things to improve.
I am most proud of the development of our district park. The ability for our parks system to grow and to allow all children in our city and surrounding areas, along with recruiting youth athletic tournaments to our city for economic growth, has been a priority of mine.
Similarly, ongoing discussions pertaining to workforce housing, transportation, infrastructure and sustainability remain important issues that will help shape the future of our city. Ensuring all corners of our city are maintained at the highest standards ensures every resident and every business has a chance to thrive and live the American dream.
I am always available to discuss issues that can affect our residents. Feel free to call my cell phone at 561-202-1299.
I ask you to join my network of friends, colleagues and neighbors and ask for your support and for your vote in March, 2020.
Sincerely,
Dr. Mark Marciano
